Having an electric fireplace is a good and cheap alternative if you don't have enough money. Some electric fireplaces have built in fireplace mantels; you won't have to buy them separately. And the price of an electric fireplace with a fireplace mantel is about the same as buying an individual decorative fireplace mantel.

From college diplomas to pictures of family members, having an intricately designed fireplace mantel is sure to attract the attention of your visitors and it will give you a chance to show your treasured possessions.
